  I read all the reviews about how awful this place was, but I thought just maybe it would not be so bad. I was so wrong.. The room was filthy. The floors were so dirty you had to wear flip flops coming out of the shower.. Their was a to go container in the microwave that had mold growing. In it.. Then the roaches started coming out.. They were on the tables you put your clothes on even. I laid my food down for just a minute and their was a roach near the plate.. That was it. I packed all my stuff and went to try and get a refund. The night clerk was in her pajamas, and she was the rudest person imaginable. She said no refunds because we were in the room for 4 hours with no complaints. When she ignored me and became irate about me asking for the corporate number, that’s when I asked her if she had her roaches on a timer, not to expose their nasty germ infested selves until the guests were in their room for at least 4 hours.. It was a filthy and bug ridden and dirty towels, and dirty bed sheets.. I would have been better off in my car. We left that motel and went to a different one..I am telling you all to please do a double take and do not get a room at the Budget Inn at Palatka..
